Rescue Squad
PROVIDING
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES SINCE 1938
Mission
The
purpose of the Squad is to provide emergency medical treatment
and transportation for the residents and visitors of the Borough
of Mountainside.
Membership
in the Squad is open to any individual 16 years of age or older
regardless of sex, race, creed or religious affiliation.
Residence within 5 miles of the Squad building is generally required.
Prospective members may apply by submitting a written application
that may be requested by e-mail or by telephone. Industrial
memberships are available for those who work in Mountainside and
are able to serve during their normal working hours.
The
cost of training is reimbursed by the Squad after becoming a full
member.
